Sizing Information

We know how difficult it can be to find the right size school uniform garments for your child, particularly during those awkward "between size" phases. Our goal here at SchoolofUniforms.com is to ensure that you get the correct size for your child the first time. We understand this may not always be the case as our size guide is our best approximation due to individual garment styles being cut slightly different.

Below is a list of guidelines provided by the manufacturer for taking the most accurate measurements of your child based on the garment sizes.

Measurement Guide

Follow these easy measurement steps using a cloth tape (taut, but not stretched). Be sure to measure your child in underwear without shoes, and then compare the results to our size charts below to determine the correct size.

  • HEIGHT: Measure from the floor, to the top of head standing without shoes. Feet together and back to the wall.
  • CHEST: Measure under the arms and around the fullest part of chest with tape comfortabley loose.
  • WAIST: Measure at the natural waistline (NOT over pants), with one finger-width between the tape and the child's body.
  • HIP/SEAT: Measure around the fullest point of the hips, standing with feet together.
  • INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to the top of the foot, rounding UP to the nearest inch.

Please note measurements on the following size guides are body measurements, NOT garment measurements.
